*** WHAT IS Regain? ***
Regain will provide you and your partner access to a licensed, trained counselor who can help you navigate challenges in your relationship. On Regain, you and your partner can communicate with each other in a safe, supportive environment. If you are not ready to invite your significant other, Regain counselors can also work with you individually on any relationship issues you may be facing.
Relationship problems can be painful and challenging. Support and guidance from a professional counselor has been shown to make big changes. We created Regain so anyone can have convenient, discreet, and affordable access to professional help. Common relationship problems people seek help for are difficulty communicating, high levels of conflict, disagreement over finances, children, or in-laws, and problems with infidelity, to name just a few.
*** WHO ARE THE COUNSELORS? ***
Regain counselors are licensed, trained, experienced, and accredited psychologists (Ph.D/Psy.D), marriage and family therapists (MFT), clinical social workers (LCSW),and licensed professional counselors (LPC). All of them have a Master’s Degree or a Doctorate Degree in their field. They have been qualified and certified by their state professional licensing board after successfully completing the necessary education, exams, training and practice.
*** HOW DOES IT WORK? ***
On ReGain, you and your counselor will get a dedicated online 'room', which will be your private and secure place to communicate. Your partner will be invited to this room as well if you decide to try e-counseling together. This room is open 24/7. You can enter it at any time, from any Internet-connected device wherever you are. In this room, you will write about yourself and your relationship issues, ask questions, and discuss the issues that trouble you. Your counselor will login to the same room, read your messages and respond with feedback, insights, and guidance. This ongoing communication is the basis of your work with your counselor.
If you choose to try e-counseling on ReGain with your partner (either at the start of counseling, or if you choose to invite them later), your dialogue would be between all three of you: you, your partner, and your counselor. Together you will work towards making a positive change in your relationship and accomplishing your goals.
*** HOW MANY SESSIONS CAN I HAVE? ***
You are not limited in the number of messages ('sessions') you can have with your counselor. The frequency of your sessions would vary based on your availability, and the interaction between you and your counselor. For example, some people have 3-4 short interactions every week, while others prefer to have one very long and thorough session. You may use the service extensively during time of need and use it sparsely at other times. Your counselor will try to accommodate your changing needs in a timely manner.
*** HOW MUCH DOES IT COST? ***
We want to make relationship counseling easy and accessible to everyone, so we've created a plan which is simple, predictable, risk-free, and affordable.
You can speak with your counselor for an affordable flat fee that includes as much counseling as you need. While face-to-face counseling can cost $150 to $250 for a single session, the cost of counseling through Regain ranges from only $35 to $70 per week for unlimited access to your counselor.
Finally, if you accomplished your goals or if you find Regain to no longer be helpful for any reason, you can simply cancel the subscription. Canceling is easy and done online - there are no hoops to jump through.
