Current Features
App Install Location
Android apps will be installed to the internal storage by default. However, you can use this app to change it so they will be installed to the external storage. This trick will allow you to move almost any app to the SD card. If you want to revert the changes, select the location 'Auto' in the app.
Battery Calibration
When you flash a new ROM, or your battery life is bad, you can calibrate your battery.
This app does it by removing the BATTERYSTATS.BIN file. The OS then generates a new and clean BATTERYSTATS.BIN, so any invalid information (from the previous ROM) is removed. It is suggested, but not needed, to let the phone fully discharge, calibrate and the let your phone charge to 100% without interruption.
Device Info
Device info shows lots of information about your device's hardware and software. It displays information about your battery, display, device model, OS and you SIM card.
Mount /system RO/RW
If you want to edit a file or directory in the /system partition, you will need to mount it rewritable. This app can mount /system rewritable or readonly. When you are finished editing in the /system partition, it is recommended to set it back to readonly. After a reboot the mount status will be reset. This may not work on all devices. In case it failed, try again with busybox installed or edit /system with use of ADB in the recovery mode.
Rebooter
Rebooter can reboot your device to all sorts of modes. It can also just do a normal reboot, or just power off. Reboot modes:
- Normal Reboot (just a normal reboot)
- Hot Reboot (goes straight to the boot animation, and will reboot quicker)
- Recovery Mode (used to flash zip files)
- Bootloader (also known as Download Mode. Used to flash stock ROMS)
- Power Off (this will power of your device)
